Creating Amazing Dyed Eggs

I decided to try a few styles of dying eggs yesterday.

First i tried the silk wrap option. You wrap raw eggs in silk, then t-shirt material, boil/simmer for 30 minutes and voila-eggs with paisley and such designs. Not mine though. Only a few worked out of a dozen. See the light pinks and greens in the bowl. Thats all that happened.

So then i resorted to the big guns! Gel food dye that i use for frosting. Walmart carries it now cheaper then anyone else, so i have bunches of it. Its not just little drops of dye water. Its dye in gel form. Making whatever it touches brilliant colors. I tied on rubber bands, string (didnt work) and to some added both gel and liquid dye. Some cups i filled to the tops with eggs, then dropped dye on the part of the egg sticking out of the water...and somehow got batman and an angel designs!
Here is the pics what i came out with!
